Noticeable snow accumulation
While our buddies in northern climes or higher elevations will chuckle, we got about an inch of snow overnight. It began around 1:30 (I was up). Our bigger dog, Boo, has been bugging us all day to let him out as soon as we let him in. He has a thick undercoat and very hairy paws (we think he's part husky or malamute), and is made for this weather. He is what Petfinder would call an "elderly" dog (he's about 10), but you couldn't tell by how he plays fetch and chases squirrels and rabbits at amazing speeds. Today he ran out and flopped over and made a "doggie angel" in the snow; he vigorously wiggled around on his back, happy as a pig in poop.
Elderly indeed.
Elderly indeed.

That late?! Wow. You know how relatively close we are, and I was already seeing snow fall while I was still at work, so that was coming up on 9pm Monday! Odd system.
Now we're headed into the deep freeze for a little while.

Talk about tunnel vision on my part! This was about Boo and I immediately made it about the time and me! I'm reminding myself of the wrong person...
Well, here's hoping he has a relatively huge amount of snow to romp in Friday.
